Each week I’m going to try to put together a list of 3-5 great blog posts I’ve read from other personal finance bloggers. These posts are a collection of things I find interesting and thought-provoking, and if you like the content I’m posting I’d encourage you to check out some of the posts in this list. There are many more posts I recommend throughout the week on Twitter – if you aren’t following me yet, please head over there and give me a Follow or follow me on Facebook.

Sam normally pumps out amazing content at Financial Samurai and this post is no exception. After doing some analysis of the American population and his own blog traffic, he offers some surprisingly simple advice that I can definitely get behind.
This one isn’t a strictly financial article but it’s worth the read. Bobby lives in the Houston metropolitan area and obviously got hammered by Hurricane Harvey. You can read this stuff on the news, but coming from first-hand experience gives you a much better idea of some of the struggles Texans are facing and will continue to face. I included some resources for you to donate in an earlier post this week, but Bobby’s got a list there also.
That’s it for this week! If you have a blog that I might not know about, let me know in the comments!
