Each week I’m going to try to put together a list of 3-5 great blog posts I’ve read from other personal finance bloggers. These posts are a collection of things I find interesting and thought-provoking, and if you like the content I’m posting I’d encourage you to check out some of the posts in this list. There are many more posts I recommend throughout the week on Twitter – if you aren’t following me yet, please head over there and give me a Follow or follow me on Facebook.
Sam runs one of the largest personal finance blogs on the internet – Financial Samurai. In this post he digs into what people really ‘need’ for optimal happiness. Of course, YMMV and what’s right for you may not be what’s right for us, but his logic is sound and there’s some good conversation in the comments with other people’s thoughts, too.
Bobby’s one of my favorite bloggers and can be found at Millennial Money Man. He’s had some great success at his blog, but even though he brings in over $10k a month blogging, there are still people making more. How does he keep jealousy at bay? He’s got three simple strategies that he employs that keep him focused on his end goals. Give it a read!
Free money sounds pretty good to me. Sound good to you, too? Truth is, many people literally pass up free money all the time! Jason over at Reaching Our Balance points out a big mistake some people make in order to achieve other goals. But dude…free money. Don’t pass that up.
This is an epic read. Kristin is a Disney fanatic, and we both cracked up over how Piggy at Bitches Get Riches dissected the economic strategies of the various princesses. If you’re up for a chuckle, check this one out.
That’s it for this week! If you have a blog that I might not know about, let me know in the comments!
